Name Change error

ok, ive tried to change my name to 3 different things, even names with ONLY letters in it, every time i get this error
That name has illegal characters. Please use only a-z, 1-9, [, ], _, and space.
so yah, please look at this

there are no smilies in the namechange -_- only letters
would be funny if the error message had a smiley in it though

Is this on a Newgrounds Multi?
If so just remove the * from the field.
