G & R Pts?

Hey.....I just read the new update.....and it says that now the top 2% of players will be getting Glor or Rep points. And I did the math, and 2% of about 37K players is the top 738. But I have been known to make mistakes in math.......heck, I always do.
So this is what I did, its simple enough........
36944 (players) X .02 (%) = 738.88 and below (Rank earning G & P points)
Now if this is true, then I'm earning those points. But I'm not 100% sure I am. This is what I have on my stats.......
Strike Action ????????? Ranked: ????
Defensive Action ?????????? Ranked: ???
Covert Action ??????????????? +
AntiCovert Action ????? Ranked ???
MotherShip Action ????????????
(???????? + ?????????) Ranked: ????
Glory and Reputation Score ... 74
Now, the bolded part is my G & R......So I'm wondering, is 74 my score? Or is it a rank? Can someone explain?

its how many GR points u hab...there is no rank in GR points ^.^

well if it is the top 700 then i ain't gettin' no G & R lol...
i think its around the top 600 with the new update...

Last I heard was it was the top 500, but if the updates taken it to the top 600 its crazy at this rate you will be able to ascend without any effort at all.

I did a quick check.
Atlantis boy, you have fallen prey to the most common error.
31K not 36.
Ranked not total.
it should be around 620

I know it said absolutely minimal about ascenion here but what does it take to become your super race (eg Ta'uri -> Tollan, Asgard -> Ancient, etc.)?

Personally I think it should be 1 point per turn in the top 100, 3 for top 10, like it was before
that way you actually need to TRY to ascend

That would cirtiantly make it harder......almost near impossable if you just try to work hard for it. Less people would be able to ascend, and that would lower the number of people who would want to play. Which means that the game would become less and less fun.
But I agree with your point.....getting into the top 600-500 is way too easy now, which makes it too easy for people to ascend. But hey, maybe new requirements will be put in place or something....just to balance it out.
