This is still a problem. Could admin give a response as to when this is likely to be fixed?? Just told a couple of my mates to give ng a try, no point if it's knackered!

So now I'm just getting told I already ascended from another account?

Is this seriously the fix? Just tell me I can't?

Considering I'm the only person who has ever lived here (which I know for a fact since I watched this house built 20 years ago.) who has played this game, and I only have ever had the one account, which obviously isn't ascended to main or I wouldn't be in this thread. I find it hard to believe that this is in fact the case.

Answers don't come very fast on this server, and they aren't always what you want to hear either. The best server in that regard is probably Ascended server.

this person deserves to know what other account he supposedly ascended from,
the email address associated with that account,
and how it's been connected to him.

the rest of us also deserve answers relevant to our circumstances.

Just to add to this. I don't know if it's the same for anyone else. But when I click the mail support link, nothing happens.

For that,
you would need to have a mail program, like outlook installed, and setup accordingly.
the email address should show up when you hover over it, along with the preferred subject line and such.

you can also click the contact us link at the bottom of any page.

This is the unfortunate result of having to tighten up the system because a few players were abusing the mechanic to create lots of NGM accounts on main as a way to farm / generate cheap resources.

A byproduct of the recent changes is that it is possible for some players who use a dynamic IP pool (for example, playing via a mobile phone), to share the same IP address of somebody else who has already ascended an NG to main. In this situation you can request an exception via emailing support, support@gatewars.com. You only need to send one email, with your username and ID, please allow for a couple of days for a response.

I will email support soon. I assume there is no way to use a system that monitors IP's and only blocks/bans those that share an IP a certain percentage of the time is there? Phones kinda negate that now I guess.
