Not sure if its a bug or intended....
Spied on someone giving me their defense action.
Defensive Action 80,000
Thought yeah i can beat that and attacked result was...
Attack defended 10 0 0 354,899 964,799
Obviously quite a difference.

Just to eliminate this chance, did you spy them afterwards and check the defense?
Otherwise, was their mothership perhaps involved?

Nice quick reply dude was just about to remove my post as he must have been upping his defense as i attacked. Didn't check the GAL.

Please fix the fact that someone can stay low in the ranks and can mass the crap out of other players yet the players can't mass them back(or so it says) and can't sab the strike/def that person has due to the limit.
As for the hitting limit due to below 10% and over 1000% someone hitting players over a vendetta they can mass us and we can mass back it appears, but we can't sab the 1b strike hes been running with.
Is the 5 hit rule in place or does the war/war setting get rid of that?
How can we see if they are below the 10% ?

You'll get massed with the limiter or not.
actually tho limiter was supposed to be removed completely when jason was about but we got left with both ppl can mass and neither can sab. its a feature so i was told.

So ppl can just sit low ranks and never have to worry about being sabbed......... yeah seems like a well thought out feature.
Whats worse this was pointed out last era so ive just been reading yet wasn't fixed then.

try finding out how it actually works first.
there's a lot more too it that just sitting at a low rank.
it wasnt fixed probably cos as I said its a feature.
oh yea and you can mass back if you actually try.
its on the forums somewhere if u look.

Know can mass back says it in era 39,
But the text is wrong , but there aint much to do if sat at low rank the ppl doing it only has to build strike/ ms, doesn't even need to worry about covert because they cant get sabbed...
Not a feature more of an abuse imo.

Actually..
The limiter was added as a way to prevent someone playing last week of the era, put everything in attack and be able to mass top accounts. I pushed to make it harder to catch up, but Jason didn't want to do that. I eventually proposed the limiter based on GnR. It was put at 10-1000 to test it out for the reminder of the era. I pushed strongly for a change and Jason wanted to ride out the era and then change it. He went AWOL in the middle of that era and Juliette took over.
The option we were leaning towards for the next era was that someone needs at least 40% of your GnR to be able to sab you or attack you more than 5x a day (enough to allow for regular farming, but not for massing, thus sniping wouldn't be an option). Removing the limit downwards was the next thing we were discussing, but nothing happened due to aforementioned reasons. It would be great if all of this got changed.
Also.. "* cannot attack over or under 10x your glory more than 5x per day (and no sab) IF either of you has any GnR worth mentioning.... "
That means the limiter won't kick in if the accounts in question have under a set amount of GnR. I know the number, but won't disclose it so it can't be abused.
There you have it. The only one more qualified to talk about this is Jason probably as he knows the code, but as far as everything else goes.. This is the truth.

You have attacked this realm 7 times in the last 24 hours.
Your glory and reputation is 60900 % of theirs.
IF either of you has any glory worth mentioning....Under 10% or over 1000% of their GnR you can attack them but 5 x day, and may not sab.
So when u get this
Shouldn't that be u can only attack them 5 times and u can not sab.
Atm u can attack them as many times as u want but u can not sab.
I can read the part were it says "IF either of you has any glory worth mentioning"
But I can also see it has said the amount and its over 60k, means it should b just the 5 attacks.

Something might have got broken. This was added 4 eras ago and we have had 2 new admins since.
It should either be that you can only attack them 5x and you can't sab them, or that you can sab them and can attack them more than 5x a day. Depending on how many GnR they have. Like I said, removing the limit downwards completely was also on the agenda.
PS: Haz, it would be nice to have a record of this era in the Updates page as well.. Just as a way to keep record..

Thank you Neim for trying to explain what it was and why.
Now that I bring this up it seems that Teyla now has a hard one for me too.
I never thought my first era in Q would bring me a fan club.

I suppose it would be seen as abuse if it being used on u and u know nothing about it but the low rank negates sabbing for both so that means the low rank player cant sab neither and that is big hindrance.
5 attack limiter was removed.
seen admin jay talking about it think it was to kikaz maybe?
to use properly for sabbing you drop or raise ur gnr to sit on edge of limiter under 10% or over 1000% and then mass and sab fully, its easy to do but if its gonna be changed it should be removed totally i think.
Jason said it was a feature tho.
dnt know if he meant just for that round or what but its working how it has been working for ages.
and what are you on about thelost? you'll be massed all the time because your in roberts allaince. get used to it.
