Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Australia and Russia are poking each other lately by blocking off imports here and there.

Same in Europe, the ones in office, because they obey what Obama-the-Nobel-Prize wants, are ready to worsen economy and joblessness, which aren't at their best currently. Although trading between EU/Russia amounts to more than $400bn (USA less than $40bn). Same issue with sanctions and embargo.

no news here. funny part is.... I am all for Russia in this case. the vote (UN HOSTED) was strongly for Russia. I am sorry but we got enough problems then to worry about that area anyway.
Besides, after the fall of USSR, that area was part of the "west" and look at it, many of those countries have had large amouts of unrest and wars. Maybe this will be for the better.
Putin was Pres, and was voted for AGAIN. they like a firm hand. Also atleast they dont attempt to hide what they do. they know they have a strong gov, us in america want to believe we donot.

Not even surprised. Wouldn't even be surprised if the US/Aus/etc. responded with an over reaction claiming some part of it is absurd. When they've basically shiv'ed them just the same.

You're right, it's not surprising at all. all govts do is escalate things. govts are useless in every sense of the word.
