I have a question, when you ascend (every time) you can pick what race do you want to be. If first time you ascend you are TOLAH, and the next time you ascend you pick ANJA, you are still TOLAH, right? ok
But i thought you at least get that Power up bonus, you pick with the race. Becuse why does that exsist for each of the asencion levels (except the first one), if you don't get the bonus to your asencion levels. Exsample: my Charisma was 821 before my about 7th asencion, i picked Anja, which is +5 to Charisma, i think. But my Charisma is still 821.

Its a % increase, nothign to do with the levels on the powerup page.

The added percentages are added in the background.

Its like the ascended blessing on main. The more you ascend, the more % chance of a ascended blessing you get.

It does not matter what race you pick after your first ascension, it has no effect (nor are the race bonuses accumulative each time you ascend).

The only way to change your race on ascended (and change the race bonuses) is to use the Race Change option that is available during non-race war tournaments (not currently visible), it carries with it the penalty of losing a large amount of your existing planets.

Ascending is a Main process, so I am taking this thread with me to my section.

It makes sense to remove the race choice during ascensions beyond the first one.

I thought it added the % of the chosen race to your stats ?

Or do you intend to keep the increases from the particular race ?

Perhaps change some text to : "Learn the ways of race X" or something alike.

No. It adds nothing to your ascended account other than the APP, and nothing to your Main except for the stat bonus befitting the ascended level. What Ascended race you choose has no effect beyond your first ascension.

There are no increases for any race, there never were.

Simpler and less confusing to remove the race choice during later ascensions altogether.

Done. (Race selection will show for level 20 NGM's and level 0 regular accounts.)

Ascended races gave you a tiny initial boost to your power levels on the ascended server. In today's age of huge levels and ascended cache up the wazoo, they matter little. The last time those bonuses were relevant was 2006 probably.

True, but as I outlined before, only upon creation of the ascended account (first ascension) and that still applies. For re-ascensions it never applied.

Then again, other than taking out the Mothership-part of ascensions, the process itself has not changed since 2006.
