Don't stop believing.. (even though you have had enough reasons to.)
Quantum breaks new ground by travelling to new worlds, new regions in the universe. As realtors say: "Location, location, location!"

Some (but not all) specifics:
- Three regions, available to all above a certain armysize
- No interaction between regions, no attacking, no spying,
- Travel costs time (turns) and is restricted to 2 times a week
- Travel costs can be reduced through (expensive) Travel technology

The first 4 weeks of this Era will be a Beta stage, the results of which will not be recorded in the Legends. Everything should work, but this will give most things a chance to be tested. The regions-feature is quite new (though a familiar reduced to its concept) and will need serious balancing. Your thoughts on this are welcome. See also the Bugs thread.
As requested, this will be a straightforward Era (normal speed/gameplay), with a twist (regions).

Kick-off Beta: December 30th, 2014 23:59 GameTime. (4 week Beta)
Kick-off Live: Market Reset, week of Jan 31st, 2015. (Standard 90 Day Era)

Just going to ask, might sound dumb but don't ask I will only be guessing

First 4 weeks going to be a beta.

On the 31st of Jan though is that going to be 3 months of the set era or is it going to be just 2 months left as the first 4 weeks is from beta?

Just a little confused as results saying not recorded for beta.

Wouldn't mind the 4 weeks beta to work things out then a 3 month wave, but lets say 4 weeks fixing stuff then just 2 months left not so keen on, hell last era went whole wave with some things not getting fixed even with them being reported at start.

That's just my opinion on it.

Beta will be 4 weeks, then a full 90-day Era.

Done to test the pacing for the era, all part of the beta. (Other changes are being made to to the game, such as layouts /security etcetc, general gameplay can highlight any bugs that crop up because of those changes)

Any chance to cut the Army size... It seems those of us with the highest UPs won't make the 1m size requirement.

Just so they know what they are getting themselves into.

P.s, I really do love the game, but HOLY $HIT please stop building us up if you're only not going to follow through with start/amended/re-amended/re-re-re-re-re-amended commencement dates....

And I do stress, again, that i do love the game, it is/was/could once again be awesome but COME ON!

It would be great when you travel to a new Region if you could filter the battlefield to show only users in your region...

I think that was suggested elsewhere, but yes probably handy when moving to a sparse region.

Real Life tends to happen without warning, anyway you can entertain yourself with the current beta

At this point they may as well "legitimize" the beta and let the clock run out on it, and start prepping for era 42. Which hopefully won't just be the "final" version of the Journey beta.
