Since I have been playing ascention my attack has only ever done about 70% of my attack value, causing me in many cases to fail to breach my opponents defence.

It struck me today why this could be the case.

Does Ascention have the rank modifier for normal attacks?

If so, does anyone agree/disagree with this?

First of all: BOONY ROCKS!

Second: The ascension rank modifier is much harder on the attacker than the defender. Yes, it is a lot but you get to deal with it. Generally, if you attack someone 3-4 pages below you in the rankings, your attack power is cut by almost half.

The rank modifier is affected by both player's overall rank, your attack rank and the opponent's defence rank. Its supposed to compensate for players that only concentrate on 1 rank to lower their overall rank.
