Where were you 10 years ago?

What has changed/what major events have passed in your life in that time?

I was still in highschool back then. Now I have a university (college for you Yanks) degree, travelled around this great country of mine, and driven across a continent with the love of my life.

10 years ago the race forums, but the Goa'uld forums especially, were active and my first stop each day after getting home from high school.
