Era 43: Capitalist Cannibalism; or, The Golden Age of Piracy

Hi.
New Era will feature piracy. It will start July 21st: 23:49 game time. (Yes, it really will.)
Raiding and regular attacks are merged, every attack will be both a slave raid and a naquadah plundering run. You will need to have sufficient transport capability to bring home your freshly looted wealth in Naquadah and slaves; this capability is calculated from new Technology (% increase), the overall activity of the Era, your number of Pirate Vehicles and the Operators to man them.
These Pirate Vehicles are not the sturdiest (think "Mad Max in Space"). They break when you are successfully attacked (week 1 will evaluate whether a defence should cancel their immediate destruction, heavily leaning towards that, but your thoughts are welcome). The vehicles require a single Operator per vehicle to affect your carrying capacity. This carrying capacity applies per attack. You need an attack force to go along with your Pirate Vehicles.
Additionally, you will need to secure funding for the maintenance of these Vehicles. Failure to present the proper funds (in the open, Pirates don't care) at turn change, will lead to the desertion of your entire Pirate Fleet, Operators and all. Don't fret, the costs of maintenance are under normal circumstances easy to pay up.
Player Activity is rewarded by a UP modifier (up to 10% more efficient for the most active player, curved reward for top 4). - Activity is -for this modifier- defined as number of full 15AT attacks in the Era. The most active player is the one with the most attacks in that time, this is checked and ranked once per day. This modifier will come into effect from week 2 on and is, as everything, subject to evaluation. Prizes as in 42.
