You are misinformed. Action has been taken to prevent similar abuse of loopholes. We will not go into the technical details, but changes to security (active and passive, e.g. more detailed logging) should provide a higher threshold to attempted abuse.
Whatever limited benefits might have been gained from these loopholes have been balanced by providing a number of anti-loophole solutions.
