Just wanted to point this out.. quite a difference in the amount of sign ups for various races.

13 Tolah, 26 Indu, 5 Ajna and 12 Ori, have signed up.

"7. To keep teams roughly fair, there can only be no more than 20% more players in any other race than the smallest. Those that sign up the latest (closer to start time) will be removed to give fairer teams."

20% more than 5 is 6. So in theory 6 ori will drop out, 7 tolah and 20 indu. Could be interesting!

Lol based on 1st come 1st serve how to kill participation in competitions.

(Yes I understand that it had to be done otherwise one race would be extremely dominant vs another)

Indeed, a race war would have been a good first tourney for me ^^

It's what happens when so many people race change to the flavour of the month/year race. Pick one of the under represented races and switch yourself.

Nothing against SOL at all falls on us for being further back in the queue unfortunately so until next time

There's no reason you can't change race after you've signed up either (you will obviously lose planets, but it may allow you to stay in).

Why not alter it so that when it counts up the numbers splits them evenly between races

That way no one is kicked out and its pot luck u can know before force in but not before

I do feel sorry for everyone else who signed up and they are looking forward to play to be kicked out.

lucky for me, not many tolah play.

Maybe everybody in the server to be forced in, like we had in the past.

Otherwise its not going to be fair.

People like being on a team they chose (unless they have no friends).
We have a similar deal with TDM already - auto forming units, but players that are bundled automatically typically don't like it. Some do good though.
Anyway, both can be prevented by finding in a unit in the 3 day period or just swapping race.

Swapping race is too costly to do if you have a decent amount of planets though. If you could choose which race to enter a race war as, and still return your own race after people could balance the race wars out. otherwise it'll stay as is and lots of players will not be able to join the tournaments.

just change race and stop crying for those planets, with cers nowadays this complaint is invalid, unless you have some 30b or more planets, in that case go spend your planets killing others if u dont want to just lose them or dont sleep and sign earlier
