Undeleted Account/s

As I emailed support about an account I know deleted then came back a few days later, has anyone else experienced seeing this happen?
the account owner sent me turns (direct) and said they were deleting their account.
A couple of days later I saw by my messages that he had indeed deleted, then a couple more days later the same account was no longer deleted.
Would be a big advantage to be able to delete and restore your account/s at will, out side of admin helping you.
