Hey been a long time since I have been here!

With ascending if I broker an inactive account can I just cancel and get it back or does it need to be canceled?

If you broker resources away to an inactive account, you will need to wait for the brokers to expire before you can get your resources back. You should aim to be on PPT when this happens to ensure your resources are not snuffled up by somebody else.
