Alright Bernie - let's talk about this then

Trump just fought for - and will keep almost 1000 jobs for Carrier in Indiana via guaranteed tax breaks and incentives. Thoughts

We'll talk about it when it happens, my fellow american.

I will gladly work with him in any area of genuinely improving the quality of life for all of us, and passionately hold his feet to the flame where he falters.

I appreciate you discussing the real issues with me, sir.

He and Pence brokered a deal already. over $7 million in tax breaks, their (Trump and Pence) only loss was that they couldn't guarantee 100% job retention in the US. - Some of those jobs were already in company policy to move.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You do realize that the desired increase in minimum wage, the idea and attempt of healthcare being GIVEN by the Federal Govt, and thoughts that we can "tax the rich to give to the poor" is absolutely insane - right?

A) The top 1% already pay OVER 50% of ALL Federal Income taxes. The BOTTOM 50%, me included - pay less than 1% in income taxes - One of the Fed Govt's biggest sources of income.

B) You also realize that more and more jobs are being "handled" by our government. Our Government(s) don't have a product to sell - they service people. Private Industry is being driven out by Labor Unions, Healthcare reform, Wage increases (my local city will be seeing an increase in wage from $8 to $15 by NEXT YEAR), Tax Breaks being ceased - these types of things are the reason we are losing jobs right and left to countries with a lower minimum wage, and less strict job regulations by their governments. Unemployment might be going down - but the stat we aren't seeing is the number of increased Food Stamp requests, Welfare program bumps, Disability (for those who really don't deserve it...)

We, the USA, are going to lose jobs by the millions here soon. Trump will do what he can to run this like a business - save jobs, lower taxes, and put money back in the pockets of Americans. But it is only delaying the inevitable. Private Industry will leave. It's too expensive too operate here. Simple. And the quality of product isn't that much different from here than it is in Canada, Mexico, or anything that might come of TPP.

Your turn

Greed and bottom line are the only real motivators in a capitalistic society. Since those are only controlled by the whims of human nature, and generally the whims of successful business humans tend to push for the strongest bottom line possible it is contrary to the laws of man for beneficial change to happen in an America such as we allow to barrel rapidly out of moralistic control. It is only as easy to look at history such as the French Revolution to see what will happen in a society where greed runs amok and the top echelon of a smaller population get farther removed from the suffering masses. :smt027

I would tread warily if I were in the small top echelon of a society where the rampant chest thumping of private gun ownership is rabidly putting in the hands of the mass majority a plethora of mighty weaponry (disclaimer - I myself hypocritically own many weapons... ). It is the fate of greedy humans that the aforementioned motivational heart of the problem promotes/allows the profitable selling to the disenfranchised mob the possible/probable means to their end... :smt017 :smt070
