Is it just me or has the FB page driven a pick up in the game and also an increase in the activity on the forums?

All my good farms seem to have come back and put defense back up...

Well being invited to it caused me to login to main and raid farm and mass for the first time in 2 years.


Wish I would have stuck with this game though my new hobbies are much more expensive.

Lol Unfortunately this game only ranks number 2 for amount of money I've invested into a game.

I just sold one of my gow accounts for 8k two weeks ago.

That's because it has... Everyone is feeling the nastalgia from talking to old friends and seeing old drama! Honestly SGW is like a black hole... No matter how far you run... It will always suck you back in!

Of all the problems with gatewars, it wasn't the core gameplay that has made the game shrink. It was mainly the lack of advertising and modernization. The lack of social media integration and inability to draw in new players, and older ones.

A significant upturn in activity due to a single facebook group page really shows how much potential this game still has if those things are fixed.

What he said ^^^. Said it when i came back just over 3 yrs ago FB can bring in so many ppl.

I've never found a game quite like GW. The people make the game, even if the people often feel like the most annoying on earth.
