I think this is in the right forum.
I do not know about anybody else but I am having a hard time finding where to click to request to join an alliance.
I command an alliance and I recently had an in-game discussion with another player who wanted to join my alliance, neither of us could figure out how to get this player into my alliance. Someone else had requested he join their alliance so I could not send him an invite for mine and he could not figure out what was happening upon requesting to attach to my alliance from his end.
I think a moderator should take a look at the alliance system and clean out the cobwebs and rehouse the bugs.
Any enlightenment on this issue is appreciated.
Also I think inter-galactic politics is a big issue and is supposed to run the wheel everyday so they should change alliance treaties and requests to be allowed to issue 1 everyday instead of every 2 days. Or simply allow multiple alliance requests so we the beaurocrats can motivate the other seldom heard of players to join alliances and offer more activity for them in the game.
Attaching to alliances.

Re: Attaching to alliances.
In order for him to get an invite from you he needs to decline the invite from the other alliance. Outside of that, you would need to have your alliance set to allow people to join in order for him to find you on the alliance page and ask to join.

Have any of you gone searching for a new alliance? I cannot find the ask to join button anymore.

Re: Attaching to alliances.
The said actions won't show if you're in an alliance.
To become an alliance member, you can be invited and then accept the invitation, or you may request membership, which will then need to be approved by the alliance leader.
You can only be a member of one alliance. You will need to quit your alliance before being able to join another. You will also need to revoke any requests (to or from you) to join an alliance.
Do not let my post count fool you, I still don't care what you think that you know.

Re: Attaching to alliances.
Can't find how to join either, went to Alliance list on Command page, opened that link and although alliance says open there is no link to click to ask to join (I'm not in any alliance and don't have any requests open)
ACR (Asgard) Duke Of Asgard Asgard Command Resurgence. 4 0 0 open
I can however make my own alliance :/
But DoA as a leader on your alliance management page there should be an option for you to send requests.

sending an invite is not an issue unless the recipient already has an invite from another alliance.
