Suggestion-concerning G&R points

The suggestion came into my mind having seen so many threads in the newb area concerning when one starts getting G&R points. I think it would be far easier if on the main page (maybe just above the personel tab) there would be an additional line of text mentioning the exact rank one has to have in order to gain G&R points. I think this would solve many problems and people would at least know how much more they have to upgrade their stats in order to gain G&R points.

[edit: Deleted the suggestion with changing races]

changing race thing was to stop people being gould for the income bonus then changing to rep to buy the covert level cheap then changing to what ever race they would like after that

and ONE thinks ones idea on the G&R points is good

It is not that difficult to calculate where in the rankings you need to be as we know what % of players get G&R, we know how many realms there are and how many are unranked.

It seems that people have got by for this long without having to be told what rank they need to achieve (which could change, potentially, every turn). I don't see why we need it now.

1) It does say how many ranks there are, but there are also many unranked realms, which do not count AFAIK.

2) It is merely a suggestion which would make things easier. For starters you would have less threads of the type "when do i start getting G&R points" in the newbie forum. Then second people would know how many ranks they still have to gain in order to start getting the points. At least you can't say that it would take alot of programming to achieve this. I got some basic (and i mean BASIC) knowledge but I still know it wouldn't take more than 1 or 2 more lines in the code.

i.e. we know how many unranked realms there are.

As for G&R type threads in the forum - people will be directed to a particular thread or multiple instances will simply be locked/deleted. The Deity is rewriting his guide and it could be that it is captured within there.

I'm not dissing your suggestion - just stating that, in my opinion, I do not believe it is needed.

i still think it should be implemented.
It would cost a little effort, but it would save alot of people's time by not having to do the calculations over and over again.

plus not everyone knows the in's and outs of this game not that many people know how to work out the G&R ranks (that i know of anyway) would save me alot of msn convos if this was put in place

(Total realms - unranked realms) / 50

i think the suggestion is one of those little things that would make a good difference. i always like to know where the g+r ranks are so i would like to see this suggestion implemented

be happy, although, to save couple of bill, you have to have had bought at least 25 or so spy levels.
