I´d really would like to calculate how much damage I get per turn when attacking somebody with a specific defence and so on.

you can never be 100% sure of damage taken on your forces as there are random fluctuations in the amont of damage every time u atk. i hav noticed myself that some attaks cost me 24mill in repair and some a measly 3mil. there is a range but it fluctuates within that damage range.

GateX is correct, the damage you do in combat is fairly random.
Causualties are also somewhat random, and are effected by rank, damage delt, type of soldier, degree of loss/victory. etc.
And as said wep damage is pretty random.
And finally the naq you get when attacking is also sometimes affected by up to around 40%
...............................
Now, there are formulas for determining your power.
I.e. Replicator SS=65K etc.
But again, those usualy go somewhat out the window during combat.

Hmh, ok, my real problem is that I´ve trained to much soldiers to "super" status and can´t untrain them (just hate rank right now). I´m thinkning about selling all my offensive weapons and attack a friend to get some casualties = hopefully a quick fix, but I would like to know what to expect in losses so I can choose whom to attack more wisely 94% in casualtys wouldn´t be so nice, neither would 1% on 15 turns...

Hmmm... once you sell off the weps your rank should drop on it's own and you shouldn't need to worry about intentionally killing off the men. Just a thought, might save you some AT
As time goes by, farming will whittle them down, or better yet, leave them alive so when you decide to build back a strike you don't need to re-train.

Rank limits your ability to make raids for UU, much soldiers/weapons = higher rank.
Strike action isn´t really of much value when farming naq and raiding among the lower ranks, it just makes the repair bill higher.

with otu weapons the do nothin tho... you would be better off just leaving them and when you do want a good rank you will already have them trained up

Yes, I´ll do that, I haven´t killed anyone yet.

Seriously? So that's why I end up taking only a percentage of naq on certain raids (been very unlucky recently, usually hitting a dude who has 70-80mil out in the open and then only getting ~50mil

)
No way around that, huh?

Seems to me that it's worth traning up more offense if you get your naq production up to where you can easily afford the repairs. I noticed I was pulling low % from my farms, so I increased my strike action. Now I'm pulling all the naq (or more troops) and I can still repair it all the next turn if I haven't already by then.
For instance: I was going to go raiding yesterday, but I noticed one of my extremely low ranked farms had over 100 mill out. With only 11 ATs, I took all of it but maybe 8 million or so. If I hadn't have increased my strike in the last week or so, I wouldn't have taken near as much.
I still don't have a high strike (only ranked around 2,900 in that area lol) but it's increased what I can get with my AT by a quite a bit.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.
