Upgrading UP

Ok, I'm a relative newbie, upgraded my UP to ~2k/day, and bought enough naq (for $) yesterday to get SS and upgrade my UP to ~3.7k/day. I've been tossing my UUs into the mines (got around 35k miners right now) and have a turn income of ~3.5 million.
What is the most effective (utilizing/selling all my resources: AT, UU, naq, etc) way for me to reach my goals of:
1) Reaching a UP of first 5k/day and then 10k/day.
2) Reaching a TIP of >50 million naq.
P.S. I joined my commander yesterday ... he has many officers so I gain almost nothing in terms of naq TIP bonus. He's getting a decent UP bonus from me, whereas I'd make about 4465/day on my own as opposed to the current 3700/day... how much of a daily/weekly naq/UU donation should I ask him for? Or would I be better off going it alone?
Remember, my primary goals are high UP and income, I don't really care about ascension.
Thanks for the help guys!!

if you just want high up, get rid of your co and make yourself co
just dump all uu's on miners and get a decent attack force (100 super trained and equip them with strongest weapons) and use them to farm 0def accounts. Using that tactic you should be getting about 2-4 mil naq /turn used in an attack whilst keeping your repair costs low.

If I decided to use this method, should I bother with a mothership? Would one help my raiding yields?

Motherships are for rank. You don't need them for farming.
As guest said, with just 100 super weps, you can easily find 0 def accounts worth 60-70 mill per attack.
While i'm not sure about the fallout of our new market, it used to be effective to trade UU for AT, and then raid or farm. Usualy making a profit. With the current market being as hectic as it is, this tactic may no longer be viable.
You would probably be best going alone if UU is your goal, though some commanders are currently offering great deals in which they give you UU on a weekly basis. Giving you the best of both worlds (naq/UU).

.....
I can't understand what you are saying... if you are suggesting that your farms are getting (45/100)x15 per Attack you need to get bigger farms...
But i'm not sure... can you clarify?

I have never seen any one with more than 15 mil

how is that even possible? look harder, don't attack for anything less than 40 mil, thats for sure

i never attack anything less than 56 mil. and so, generally, i get 3-4 mil per turn. if not 5 or 6 if i find a farm with 70 mil
and mothership sorta help. because what you steal depens on your firepower.
but then i's cheaper to rather train another 100 soldiers. anyways..... remember to set war with the farm before you attack.
you then get more naq/turn used

Look for the guys in the low ranks (and we're talking 10K- ) with 100K+ in army size. Declare war with about fifty of them, and as long as you didn't make a mistake and hit a proverbial land mine.... when you browse your 'enemies' list you should be gauranteed at least one or two decent hits.

another thing you can do is get a medium spy level atleast then train some spies. most of the inactive accounts will hav a low covert level or no trained spies. this way you can find ppl with more naq out in the open.
