What is good for you if you got Attacking&Defending Mercenaries?Where can you use them?What are they good four?

first of all, use the search button...
And the answer is: defend mercs can be used in defence, offensive mercs in offensive, you'll still have to buy them weapons ...

untrained mercs do nothing, atk/def mercs will do something IF there are weapons availble for them.
you can also have the mercs to use the weps when your regular soldiers/supers die in atks.

RAWR i cant even buy any def/off/ mercs wont let me when i have like 2 k of them and i have a total army of 17k and i have like 20 mil and try to buy 1 it wont let me why is this?

merc tech upgrades allows u to hold more mercs ^_^

You have to be VERY quick to get them before they are all gone. If they are already gone, it gives you a bogus error saying you don't have enough resources to pay.
