Lifers for ascension

When you ascend from main do lifers count as trained units or untrained?

LoL yeah.... i think the only people being exploited are the people who ascend.
The lifers rule has mde ascension costly....even more than before.
People that say ascension is easy should try it now. It sapps you of UU/miners nowdays

Ascension was always supposed to be costly... remember?
I don't think Forum actually realized at the time that people would be re-ascending so rapidly after first ascending. This could have something to do with slowing down some people.
Who knows.

Yeah... i knew it was costly but now i have realised just how costly it is... thats why it makes me angry when people say it is easy to get to living god nowdays.
I just wish we could effect the main server in some way.. coz if we Descend then we have nothing....... or do we?
But thats a totally different subject

Yeah it's definitely not easy now. The lifers counting to both won't really help that much either. It's only useful if you plan on taking quite a while between ascensions but part of the idea was to slow down multiple ascensions.

Yes!...I think we should be able to damage main accounts through attacks on the corresponding ascended account

He obviously did'nt follow through and think about what people would do.
It's easy to say "People won't ascend for ages", but if you don't think about what you are saying, don't think about your gameplay design, and think about loopholes and exploits, anything you say "for certain" can very quickly descend into farce. This is such a point, he obviously did'nt think as hard about the "People won't ascend for ages\year" type comments because he left open massive loopholes to exploit.
Well, he at least did'nt realise them. Once something is released "in the wild" for any game, when you have a good population of dedicated players, they WILL find pretty much any exploit you have left in the game.
Look at battlefield 2, they found almost all the major exploits within a few days of the release (some even in the demo).
