I have a big suggestion.

How about implimenting a new way of finding out cheaters and multies, such as writting a scirpt that will detect a series of accounts activeated sequentialy or something, as this seriously affects those inoccent players who's family play the game, who I know, will be affected by this sooner or later, like I was.

I have just had my account practicly reset because my bro and step bro have accounts. Now this is COMPLETLY unfair.

I understand that Forum is doing the best he can atm in finding multies, and I don't blame him - it's the right thing to do. But I mean lets be serious. You should NOT do this unless you are SURE someone is multing, else it puts some other players at a disadvantage.

When Forum sorts this problem and has my account back to the way it was, as I'm hoping he can, I will have lost a few 10Ks of UU. This is unfair - I had deals lined up to my eye balls. I hope Forum and his team do not make the same mistake to anyone else, as being accused of being a CHEATER, while always HATEING those p****s - is very very insulting. I've always been against it - those b******s ruin it for us all!

and they just ruined it for you too just by requiring so many procedures to stop them...good luck with getting your stuff back and this sounds like a decent idea.

Well, you must did something, for which forum reseted your account, i know a few guys who play from the same computer and they never got problems like that... maybe you in the family helped out each outher, and that looked suspicous...
If i were you ill email forum's urgent adress with this topic, explaining the situation. I think he can understand it...

It is impossible to help each other out due to the stupid rule now implimented that stops people donating on the same IP address. I have did nothing to deserve an accusation like this, and I have been more insulted by this than I have in many many years. I consider myself a 'clean' player, and to logg on to find 5K UP, 3 spy levels and around 120K lifers missing, and an email saying that I was A MULTI was VERY VERY insulting to me!!

you can email admin to allow sending stuff to players on the same ip. i did it and now i'm fine.

i still think that you shouldn't be too harsh on the admins. If they did a mistake you can't blame them, they are humans too and they cannot investigate every single case fully if there had been any suspicious behaviour. I understand your anger fully but please be more tolerant. admins try to make this game a nice place for those who don't cheat and, just as in realy life, even the innocent get put in jail. **Filtered** happens, now you just have to stand up and ask them to give you your stuff back.

Yeah dude, send them a mail, and wait, i think they will give you back with apologies.... i know i had issues in the past with a proxy detection related thing and admin helped and he was quick.. just an email...

I've sent the email and waiting for a reply. I reliase I'm being harsh, but when you log on to see someone calling you a cheater and sabotaging your account to make you feel like a complete idiot.

All I ask is they are a little more CERTAIN in the future as to if someone is multing or not. They can't just see a few account at the same IP and decide

"ok this guy's cheating.....let's sabb his account, suspend his brother's accounts, send this email calling him a cheater and give him a list of ID's he never heard of...."

I can't stress enough how victimised I feel. I have always supported any action against cheaters, and to be called one....well now i'm just repeating the same old same old....you see my point guys

yeah, you cant just look at ip adress, my brother and i both play and until i got my new pc i didnt play, but when i did i signed up, but i have logged on from our old pc and from his laptop, as he has logged in from all 3 as well...sometimes one compy is closer than the other or one is not on, or we are on vacation and i dont want to go on vacation mode. i trust tree, i have known him for a while and he has always been a very honest person. oh, and about that cant send to ip stuff, doesnt that just suck? i cant even send to my brother since he is at home on break now...

All I can say is that it sounds very unfair. For as long as ive known Tree he's been an honest player. I sincerly hope forum sorts this out pronto. My brother used to play here as well, but he hasnt in a few months, and never deleted his account. I hope I wouldnt be treated the same way, and I thought family could play as well.

The unfair part of it all beyond tree's account having things removed is that his brothers cant play anymore. That just doesnt seem very fair, and what with not being able to transfer resources to each other, it really doesnt sound quite right suspending them.

Anyways, I hope this is sorted, Forum has always been fair and helpful to me in the past.

yeah, my parents and my bro have accounts on here lol and becuz of that IP thingy we cant "help each other" but i dont think you'd get in trouble if you explain that different members of your family have accounts. And, with your prob., i would think that they would appologize for the problem. IDK but it sounds like the real cheaters are using something different to keep themselves secret or something

Ok this is getting ridiculous - how long do I have to wait for an email reply?? This is the 5th day I've been without a decent account and the 5th day my bro's accounts have been suspended. I have lost out on 60K UU in trading now.

How long must I wait?

Admin's email inbox is usually swamped with all sorts of things - no doubt in-game alerts, warning messages from automated systems, people complaining about updates, suggesting changes and then those (such as you) who really need to get something done.

Find a generous mod on here and politely (very politely) ask them if they will take 5 minutes to speak to Forum about it...

Anyway, why not also detect accounts from the same IP location with the same passwords?

For instance, when I started playing the game, I didn't really reallize how unfair multies were (I confess), and made one myself. Not only was the email "knightvalor@dodgeit.com" but the password was the same as my current one!

This would probably catch about 99% of multi accounters alone!

Your idea is good too, but it will only find future accounts, and it may also penalize people with curious little brothers... "I want to play!" "Okay fine, here's the window."
