Good idea - just a button that says 'Cancel Trade'

I agree, this is a natural addition to the trade system...

However, it makes the trade bank idea even easier.

ie, I set it up with my friends...I farm a bunch, fill my bank, then stick that naq in the trade bin. I do it a couple more times, then cancel them all at once, and buy my spy level, or whatever...

So put a decent (say 10%) loss rate on cancelled trades. This in addition to any broker fees and whatnot.

10% is a bit muhc to loose because the other person opted otuthe trade... bad idea, i want to sell 1 mil uu ., the other guy says ok, then goes naw frick it, and i loose 100k uu, bad idea.

in that case - make it a 0% charge if the trade being cancelled is UU or AT - but to stop it being used as a trade naq bank - put a % charge on it - but it would need to be high enough to deter people from using it as a bavnk (25%?). Then, if you are actually trading for naq, and don't want to get hit by this in case of a cancellation - just make sure the preson you are trading with enacts their part of the trade first.

25% would be good. At that level it makes it cheaper to store your naq in weapons. Any less that 25% and it will still be abused.

yeh it may be but what about the innocent cancels, a freind requests naq, you use the trade broker as he isnt on atm, then you decide u need the naq, and will apologise to him later, uh oh 25% loss, bit harsh isnt it

I dont think you should have to loose anything! I set up a trade the other day offering a very large amount of UU in return for over 1trill naq, when I was asked to confirm the trade all the details were correct (believe me I checked very carefully) but when the deal was set up it said I was offering all these UU for 15bil!! I was very worried indeed! Fortunately the person I was trading with was very honourable and sent me the right naq anyway. but if I could have just cancelled the trade, there would never be any problems
