whats the difference between the offensive away team and the offensive NID team? other the the obvious fact of cost

first differance: you need a away team, to train a nid team.
second differance: nid team is far better than away team. FAR BETTER.

NID teams are exactly twice as powerful as away teams.

Technically speaking, you only really need 160k off/deff normals to get into the top hundred. It's the covert that's the real meat and potatoes of the top ranks. Some of those people are pushing a million coverts with lvl 23+ skill.

Addendum: Set, go flipping through the top ranks. You should see something highly amusing (and more than a little frightening) right around pg 2.

I can see a person on page 2 with 0 supers and fairly low covert level.

its from the bug, my officer who had just acended had nothing but miners cause of his ppt and he was ranked 200 for a while.

no, actually. i have lots of anticovert just no covert.

No, this guy has 8-9B off/deff, and a massive number of anticovert, lvl 23 skill. He just doesn't have any supers, or a whole lot of covert units/levels.

Yep, we are definately looking at the same person. I'm spying him with about 1/3 of the spies, simply because he only has level 16 covert. He also has over 90k UU out. It almost looks like he's baiting people to attack him so he has a reason to destroy them.
