Why is it there is untrained mercs if there not even used in attacking or defending. if you have some then take a look at your attack logs and shows every thing else is used except untrained mercs. well and untrained units but thats an update.

Perhaps increasing your maximum Banking space?

A cool little feature would be that they reduce repair costs eeever so slightly. Though that would of course mean that in the end people would have so many U-Mercs that they never actually need to pay for repairs again... unless of course U-Mercs could be killed or taken... by some sort of Raid attack! Yes, that's it! Using Spies and Covert turns! Raids using Spies!

Alright, this turned into an advert for Spy-based Raids, but the first suggest isn't bad I don't think.

Yes, train them into mechanics and field medics. Lower repair costs and unit losses. I don't think it'll happen tho.

Do they do anything yet. Or are all these people just buying them for extra bank space. Which is a waste I must add.

Why is it everyone seems to be browsing straight past the obvious implication ofr untrained mercs here?

Basically, they should, like untrianed soldiers, generate Naq per turn.
The number of soldiers you get per turn is restricted to your UP.
The number of Mercs per turn is restricted only to the amount available.

Of course, if this were to happen, the Naq/Merc would have to be decreased considerably otherwise people would be nabbing them all before any chances arise for others.

maybe about 10 naq for each merc would be good

remember atm there are only 80,000 so 10naq for each would be an ok price
