AT turn multiplier

I was just thinking... as a reward to those who stick actively with the game for an extended period of time...

For every 6 months that you actively play the game, your AT per turn increases... So if you actively play for 7 months you get 2 AT every turn and if you play actively for 14 months you get 3 AT every turn

This would make it better for those who have played for a long time, while putting newer people at a little bit of a disadvantage... If implemented, I think that the time should start at the time of implementation to give everyone at the time an equal chance...

Since it is based on playing actively, I'd say you have to be on at least once every week (and if you aren't on in a week, the timer for the 6 months starts again from when you next log in)


This would create a large amount of AT floating around and might help stimulate (eventually) the AT market, since it is always so low...

This could be a problem for multi-ing though... If someone keeps multis active long enough, they could reap the rewards... (the only downside that i can think of right now other than the advantage for longer playing people)

Um... No...

This would further promote exponential growth of high players, and the bonus of 2 at per turn is just... unthinkable. You get double turns simply because you've played longer than your friend??

And what about vacations... Everyone goes on vacations.

What about losing internet?? Sometimes that lasts a week.

And what... extra layers would this add to the game, other than making the strong stronger and the weak less able to compete with the strong?

i'll think you'll find the strong dont tend to farm/raid that often go ask DOOM LORD when was the last time he attcked anyone for naq or uu i think you'll find it was along time ago...

myself i only use turns when i get to many so i raid alittle like just now used up a few turns on a nice little raid target knightvalor

i personally have only been playing for a month and am extremely strong in the game... to think that just becasue someoen hasn't been playing very long, makes them stronger in my opinion is not logical...

about the vacations and the internet loss, taht is why its a suggestion, so taht we can think about it and work out details on how to make it better...

lets say you go on vacation mode.... we could say that the timer freezes when you are on vacation mode... that solves taht issue... about losing internet for a week though? I've never heard of such a thing happening...
To me... that would be negligible...

Well I have to say, with recent market changes, and several posts in my alliance forums, I came to the realization that AT are quite a commodity for those of lesser rank. If you don't have the naq to improve yourself, you have to fight for it, or wait immensely long times for it. This would allow those who are playing for a significant amount of time to get some more AT as a reward for sticking with the game for a long time... And players like DOOM LORD as mentioned above, with little use for AT would more than likely trade them to the market, which is greatly needed since the amount of naq in the market is over 2000x 1 trade, the lifers is over 2000x 1 trade and turns is a mere 2x 1 full trade... That is extremely low... This would (not immediately, but eventually) help the AT market up out of its high priced ditch

I mean that I am 99.99% certain that this will not be implemented.

It has been suggested many times before and always rejected, so I see no reason why it should be any different now. The stronger players do not need AT (they might trade in them/make $$$ with them - but they do not need them - unless someone really annoys them or they are fighting amongst each other!!).

Besides - more AT would only mean the stronger/richest players would be able to buy up more AT and still maintain the same control on the market that they do now - ultimately, a balance would strike and it would be exactly the same as it is now!

It wouldn't even mean increased attacking because there'd be twice as many attack turns around for teh same amount of naq (and we don't need to increase naq production any further!).

yeah bad idea seeing that your "turn production" stops at 4k turns anyhows, no matter how long you played.

that means i would be getting o YAY 4 turns every 30 mins

....ya bad IDEA , relaly bad idea why i tell u becuase it isnt fair for the little guys....VERY UNFAIR...see if it did happened...i would need to buy as much turns in the market and i would raid those little guys non stop...does that see fair HELL NO....

Well...not really at all.
But, nonetheless, there is no point in rewarding the old, powerful players any more than they have been.

Gearing the game towards the old players is just bad business sense, because they are already hooked. It would be like the tobacco industry putting out an ad telling 50 yr olds not to forget to keep smoking. What's the point - better to get the teens.
