Hey guys, quick newbie question, do I need to equip my denfense teams?
I have bought some MG implacements and a personel tank as well as an NID defense team.

However on some of my attacks I have encountered enemies which are unarmed.
So far i have not been attacked which is good, but I want to be ready.

Do I need to buy/stockpile extra P90's etc for the defense team?
Do they use the MG positions, (I.E one MG per denfese team)
Or are they ready to defend now.
If someone comes through my gate, will my men be equiped, or will they be unarmed?

your men will only be equiped to defend your base if you have bought defensive weapons

Only the weapons from the 'Defense Weapons' section can be used in defense - not P90s. If you have trained troops (or NID 'super' trained troops) they will use the weapons - one weapon per troop. If you have more weapons than troops then the best weapons are used. If you have more troops than weapons then the troops without weapons will fight unarmed. All this is done automatically, providing you have the troops and weapons.

Thanks for all the help guys, low and behold I got attacked last night, luckily twas no to bad as the attacker was so much stronger than me not much naq was taken and I only had mino repairs to my weapons and managed to kill one of his millions of super soldiers, not to bad.
