how about after someone comes off vac mode they cant buy a ppt for two days, that would keep some people from doing nothing but hiding. what do you guys think?

yea, i was thinking about posting similar thing recently.
good idea, but perhaps it needs to be worked out further? say only 3 vac's per month - i dont know if they are any guys that really go to vacation or sometime 4 times a month or something...i dont know if it would hurt anyone, i surely dont know someone who goes away 4 times a month and doesnt have internet on at least one of the occasions,but i would like to hear others' thoughts if itd hurt anyone playingfor real...
or perhaps only 1 2-day vac per month, rest would have to be longer?
slightly OT - with current rules, i dont see why is there no.of days-box while going on vac...as far as i know - you set this to 2 and you come back whenever you want...

My response is a mix. Vac mode should be unlimited in all ways (except you have to wait two days to log back in), but the thing about PPT you have there is a good one. It would keep people from abusing them and hiding, but it would allow people (like me) who really need vac to use it as they need it.

There is already a limit of 2 PPTs per week.

something definately needs to be done to make sure people actually 'play' the game and not just ppt, ppt, vac, ppt, ppt, vac etc etc

could make it so if on ppt u get less UU naq ect... and u cant use each ppt per weak right after each other AND only can use vac once a week

I agree - I'm using PPT quite a bit at the moment because I can't get on as much, but I don't go into vacation mode at all - in fact , I've never used it - ever.

When people actually take a vacation it is usually for more than a couple of days - I'd say a week minimum - so why not make vacation mode a week minimum - may stop it being abused as a protective measure.

Other than that - to modify Colonel carter's idea slightly - how about making it so that once you finish PPT you cannot go into vacation mode for at least 24 hours. Similarly once you finish vacation mode, you cannot PPT for 24 hours (in fact - that is thunder's initial suggestion - lol) - but I still think that the PPTs should be allowed back to back.

I've used Vacation Mode once, to cover myself when I wouldn't be able to log into my acct over a weekend. I don't have the cash (real or ingame resources) to go on PPT whenever I want, and even on Critical Alert, I would have come back to find a realm that had been blasted into the stone age.

I will need to use 2-day vacations in the future for the same type of occasion.

I have to strongly disagree with this idea.
