Formatting Messages

Is there a way to format the messages you sent through the ingame messaging system? Adding linefeed to define paragraphs, for example. It's probably not too vital, but the communication with some of the officers that has short attention-span is a problem because they don't read what I write properly. Writing instructions/advice or commenting on the different topics they ask in the same message is also a pain.

Currently I'm using 'I write my reply in capitals' approach. If formatting messages is not possible, any other suggestions on what other players do with their message writing techniques?

I searched the board on this topic, but there didn't seem to be any related threads. If I was wrong, I'd appreciate being pointed out to the right direction :) Thank you.

Thanks :) I'll probably better off setting up a forum or something.

A good question - and something that is also suggested frequently as an addition to the game. Interestingly enough, the last time a global in-game message was sent by Admin, it was perfectly formatted - giving us all false hope that a formatting update had been introduced.

Forum - nudge, nudge, hint, hint :-D

There are, however, much more other things that need to or could be done before the niceties can be added.

Actually...There are some simple ways of spacing....Often you can tell when a person is new to the forum, but a vetran of the game....because when they post they use.....To space the sentances....Cheers

Other than that, just avoid "", /, ', and any other strange character.
As a last resort, or for something important, PM yourself before you PM your officer and make sure everythings bolted down.
