Lifers and Ascension

I know that Lifers now stay in your acount after ascension. But what if Lifers Turned into Normal Miners or UU after ascenion. There should be a way to untrain Lifers since they will just keep stacking up. Ascension seems appropriate to do it. what do you think?

the clue is in the name - LIFERS - i.e. for life! I wouldn't complain if I was you - previously you lost everything in your realm when you ascended - including lifers. You can't have everything your own way!

id prefer to be able to train all my miners as lifers without going 1 at a time

Calm down 8) , I know you mods get tired of answering worthless threads (this isn't)... But Unre4l is just trying to make a point, there must be some other advantage to ascending (ie: in this case, the lifers become untrained units.. 8)

sell uu and buy lifers from market, for 68kuu you can get 140kminers that way

I am calm - but also tired of repeating myself and seeing threads pop up time and time again. You have a choice - you either lose your lifers when you ascend (as previously) or you don't - at the moment we don't. The fact that you now keep your lifers was introduced because people felt it was unfair that you lost them when you ascended - you can't have your cake and eat it! You get to keep them now - be thankful for that.

Honest to God I am thankful. But it was just another suggestion. Not one made before I am sure.

If you had it your way, there wont be any posts in this section since it would be unthankful to make new suggestions. Nobody is saying the game isnt good. But everything can be improved.

It is not often I accuse people of being disrespectful towards me as a mod - but you are pretty damn close to it!! I do my job as a mod - I point out if suggestions have been made before (which this one has) and the reasons why they will/may not be implemented (in this case - because they are lifers!! - for life!!). I also try and point out other things (in this case that until fairly recently you actually lost your lifers when you ascended!).

If you do not like my reasoning, then fine - I don't really care! But I will not stand for comments such as "If you had it your way, there wont be any posts in this section since it would be unthankful to make new suggestions". Okay?

And yes, everything can be improved - but like I said - many suggestions are made time and time again - and, even if a suggestion comes along which I quite like, I always try and find some downfall in it (playing devils advocate) - i.e. will this benefit stronger players more than weaker ones, is there potential for it to be exploited somehow, will it render some other part of the game obsolete? You see - I actually think before I post.

i think thats kinda opposite the essence of ascencion - to lose everything in terms of resources, but get more powerful account base. your suggestion would reward ascending in terms of getting powerful with resources - and ascencion could, instead of weakening you, even make you stronger!
most of the resources is already transferred anyway between ascencions, so ascencion would become a "double bingo", only pushing your account ahead in terms of resources instead of backwards. i think lifers being carried over ascencions is bad enough.
and also, this would bring another kind of problems - i have someone buy lifers on the market a few weeks in a row, and with the income they make he ascends, and then those lifers would be converted into miners, and he sends the uu to me. he gets his "free" ascencion, i get my cheap uu.

meh i dont liek the fact that lifers stay in ascension id prefer to loose the ulseless buggers >< .
if you ascend enough you loose all the $$ potential in your acc, now who would want that
