i think in the alliance rankings area beside the name of each alliance sumwhere on the page you should be able tu click: make peace/war/neutral/send msge . so that way wen we make new treaties with alliances like crystal force we dont need tu go thru 11 pages to make peace with all of them . how would you guys out there like that?

This has been suggested so many times (I lost count)

In the future when you create a suggestion thread, read this link:
http://herebegames.com/StarGateWars/vie ... hp?t=17059

This suggestion has been implemented in chaos wars.
I do not think it has to be in main too...

If I was a mod right now I would lock this

LOCKED

Very true Huxley - however this suggestion does not have an official thread as yet - so this is now it!

I agree - this would be a good addition - it would stop some of those we have a non-aggression pact with attacking us because they are not aware of the pact. If I could expand the idea a little further - an alliance leader should have the ability to put his whole alliance at peace/war/neutral with another alliance/player.

I think Alliance Leaders should have this option, that way none of us little people could just say yyyaaaayyyy you can't attack any of my friends!!! Etc... You get what I mean

Ya but this option should only be available if 2 alliance leaders agree to peace then they should have the option of Alliance Peace!!

No offence to you bud but it would stop weak alliances making peace with all the big alliance!!!

Some of the bigger boys still want their farms... As when your really powerful you will want them too.. Its the circle of life and The Lion King Strikes again :D

mines got 4 ppl in it. but we should get to topic.

this would be a great idea so peace treaties that r forgoten about, u would be at peace so u can just ask ur comander about it and be lik o ya. this would make it a hell lot easier wit ur allies. to not atak.

I would assume that it would work the same as peace/war/neutral now. i.e. currently you can declare peace with someone - and doing so stops you from being able to attack them - but it does not stop them from being able to attack you, unless they also declare peace. It would be the same for alliances:

Alliance A declares peace with Alliance B, therefore nobody from Alliance A can attack anybody in Alliance B - but unless Alliance B also declare peace, they are all free to attack anyone in Alliance A. So both of them have to declare peace to make it work anyway.

There could also be some code built in so that if one side comes out of/never went into peace and attacked the other, then peace on both sides is automatically cancelled, and a record of the attack that broke the truce is logged. This would stop the potential problem of one side declaring peace, and then the other side attacking, knowing they can't be touched unless the leader of the side at peace resets to neutral/war (or unless people leave the alliance and declare neutral/peace themselves). Adding this would ensure that the alliances actually spoke to each other and declared peace at the same time - in order to stop the declaration of peace being constantly undone.

Yup thats the way it would work alright Wolf359, I myself was attacked by someone my alliance had a "peace treaty/Non Aggression Pact" with..

I didn't really care about the naq cos I got it back within a day or so, but the fact that I lost nearly 500 defence units bugged me.. I PMed the guy and told him that we had a PT/NAP and he could keep the naq he then apologised and sent me back the units I lost.. So no harm done..

So that's why I'm all for this option because if my Alliance Leader has the option to tell me that we are with peace with Alliance A, B, C I will know that I can't attack them..

Even if it said your Alliance has a NAP with this Alliance. You may attack however it may jepordize the stability of this alliance..

The Game Gods should just make a button that allows for the alliance leader to declare peace and then when you go to the attack page it would auto block you from attacking anyone with a peace treaty

Would save a lot of time of sifting through the crap trying to figure out if you have a NAPT or not

I think with the alliance management page a little more refined now with being able to declare war with an alliance it would be nice to have the same feature on the page to declare peace as the topic is stating.

However, unlike the current declare alliance war, I think the option to clear out the peace setting should be available as well so that the alliance Com/2ic can reset it and make sure the proper people are set to peace.

For example:
Alliance A is recorded in the logs as being a list of xx people, 5 people left that alliance but are still recorded in the Alliance Management page as being in that alliance/set to peace. The Com/2ic can then "set all to neutral" from that section and then reset the alliance to Peace.

We have similar abilities in our individual capacities, but its tedious to go through all the names especially for all alliance members to. Personally I am able to remember who my treaties are with and always have been, but I know this would be easier for me to remember to do if I have new people coming on board :-)
