i´m trying to get a new commander and it shows me this: "You allegiance is to your alliance -being its leader- first and foremost. You will not dilute that allegiance with a commander."
what´s wrong, or what am i doing wrong?

It simply means that you are the leader of an alliance.
To get around this, hand over control of the alliance to someone you trust, then switch commanders. Then ask for control back.

It is a bit odd. Still, it probably keeps some alliances from being completly destroyed when their leader joins a commander. After all, when a commander switchs alliances, so do his officers.
If you were not already aware of that, keep it in mind. You don't want your alliance headless because your commander decided Alliance B gives more benifits than Alliance A
