Is there any way to get GR points other than being ranked 895 or lower, like, bribes or something?

So that's how you gain them!
Does that number change over time? If not then ascention is going to completely die out, as more people come, it will get increasingly harder to get in the top 895 until it's impossible.

no its getting easier and easier to ascend it used to only be top 100 who got them

yes if it gets much easier it will ruin the whole idea, but as the game grows with numbers it will even itself out as the top 1000 players are looked apon as elite

Well it has to get easier, gradually, or as I said, it would die out and no one else would have a chance at ascention.

OK thanks, I was just hoping there might be a detour... and Seraphor, to figure out where you start getting GR points, take the total number of players and divide it by 50.

Ok... I was out working in the yard and somehow I must have missed this...
@Seraphor: It would behoove you to read the 'game updates' there is a good amount of basic info on starting the road to ascension and G&R there. Not to mention the helpful glimpse into the game's mechanics.
@wiggum_two: Yes.. I suppose dividing by 50 might work. But I prefer to multiply using the handy little chart in the game updates section:

Xeno, as a matter of fact I have looked at the Game Updates for many issues that I found no help for in here.
All I could find for G+R was "What is it? ... wait for it....
".
I guess I didn't look hard enough.

If you looked and could not find.... meh... you're still ahead of 99% of the other gamers.
I must admit that browsing through the updates can become tedious, and often find that things are updated 'again' just a few weeks later.
