the market ss should not come with a ppt, its way to easy for the top people to buy now and everyone is on ppt.
if ppt is needed to be bought by the market i suggest there be a second kind of ppt to buy in the marke that would cost way more naq to get the ppt. as now its kind of not even 1 turns worth of naq for the top players, or 2 turns worth for the middle people.
and many of you out there want it as is bc you like it easy. well change it and make some challenge in the game instead of living on the almost free ppt twice a week for 4 days

i want some way of being able to buy one tho, i dont have any way of buying it with real $$$ and u cant leave some players at a disadvantige. but if u put the cost up too high to buy with naq then ud have to make alot of naq while on PPt to pay for it.

thats true but the cheapness of the ppt allowed Esker to remain almost unscathed

You could always spend $10..... if you want great boost's then that is what it should take.

but thats not fair on people who cant do that, i agree it is 2 easy to get it but making you use real money again is 2 harsh, just raise the prices alot (gonna regret saying that when i need ppt)

Hmm - guess that makes me a lot less than a 'middle player' then as it takes me a lot more than 2 turns to amass the amount of naq needed to buy this.
Can you define 'middle player' JUAN - because personally I feel you are assuming people make a lot more naq than they actually do!

To do away with market PPT is to unfairly imbalance the game in favor of those who can afford to spend $$ on the game.
Forum has worked extremely hard to keep the game fair for people who pay and those who do not pay, taking this away is clearly a shot against players who cannot afford to donate cash to the game.

wolf its called
Exaggeration
and as for making it unfair for removing the ppt totally from the market, well what happened before the market even came to this game???
so to make a statement like that is just stupid
i do see it being unfair to raise the price, yet again for the strong its like nothing so i only see removing it as a fix. when you go out there farming how many do you find with ppt on??
as a new farmer to the game i can say that half of what i would farm are under ppt, which is sad. if ppt was to go back to pay 10$ then thats better as not near as many would be on it all the time they could.
leaving it as cheap as it is now is pointless it makes the game not as active

Okay - but was there a need to exaggerate? Not really. COme on JUAN - you've been around long enough to know that ideas are more likely to be listened to if they are factual and present good arguments - not by making 'exaggerated' claims.
As for what happened before the market came to the game - those ith the biggest wallets were able to go on PPT when they pleased - thus protecting themselves post mass and protecting their income - while those that couldn't afford it, didn't.
It has been around too long now to be removed - and in my opinion is one of the few methods a lower ranked player can use to boost (protect) his income and even come close to catching/competing with those above them - especially if they decide not to be part of an alliance (and do not have money to burn!).
But, to make it really fair - if PPT was to be banished as you suggest - then so should the whole market. And if that goes then so should the ability to raid - as all the powerful players would just drop their rank at will to raid the lower players, because they would no longer be able to trade for units. It would then be unfair because only those with money could afford SS and therefore would be the only ones who could send/give/trade resources - so, to make it absolutely fair, the ability to give resources would have to be removed. Everyone would then have to rely on the management of their account to make it a good account and get resources.
Not saying this should happen - but if you remove one ability, then legitimate claims can be made to remove many more.
Thinking about it - actually - a total removal of all ability to trade/give/send resources within the game, and removal of PPT, would probably be the best way of levelling the playing feld - as a number of lesser players could then team up and mass a big player - but because there is no ability to trade, or go on PPT, that big player can't recover as quickly - having to rely on account resources.
All hypothetical of course - and with no PPT or ability to trade through purchasing of SS, then the game would probably wither and die as there would be no funding left to support it - but like I said - all hypothetical.

As much as I despise and hate PPT (abusing), I must completelly agree with you, Wolf.

Hmmm a possibility would be to link the price to the amount of miners/lifers you have.
the more you have the higher the cost of a ppt
this is assuming that you could buy a ppt as a seperate item

It's pointless to link it to miners, since they can be untraiend... easy solution would be to untrain miners and keep only lifers for cheaper PPT.
And trust me, people would do it... because they are able to drop their ranks because of raiding, this would be no problem for them.
