How many turns to mass someone?

I have the same offence as my target has defence, but he is a prior and has those high durability weapons (he has about 40000 of them, but I can sabotage that down to 30000). I have enough naquadah to buy several thousand turns, but I need to save some naquadah for repairs.
Also, is it more efficient to attack 1 turn at time or 15 per attack?

I don't mass that much, so i can't tell you how many AT you will need
(though I doubt it will be more than 3K);
However I am more than willing to offer suggestions

:
It may be wise to set them to neutral before you start, as iirc, that will lower the damage you take.
-----------------
Also, if you time it right, you will be able to buy more AT should you come up short;
No need to go overboard buying your AT.
And, after your first attack, check and see how strong his M/S is.
If you think you can mass it to, buy up on your own M/S weapons to do as much damage as possible.
----------------
What did this guy do to you anyway?
<SelfEdit> Dadigi, are you sure about the 15AT?

1 attack is the best to use when massing, you don't cause a lot of damage as a 15 attack would do, but you would have a lot more attacks to use with only 1.

i've done alot of massing since i joined this game way back last year
use 15 attack turns each time untill the defence is gone then use 1 attack turn each time to finsh off the super units and mothership
you'll need a good 700 turns if your strike is ruffly the same as the defenders defence and about double that if there ascended
(i would'nt advise massing someone ascended its alot more costly if your a basic race)

it used to be like that, but forum levelled it out a while ago, but 1 kills moe supers, but its doing weapons damage at the same time.

Yes, it is possible to completely destroy somebody's defense and spies. You can also sab away their attack weapons, but it takes a while. You can't kill miners, and you can't kill attack troops or anti-spies as the agressor.

Destroy enemy defense weapons (primarily)
It also can have the side effects of killing enemy spies (if you have a high Anti-Covert) and defensive units.
