forgive if this is a dumb question but i have looked and looked but havent found an answer.
when you attack, do your attacking forces, those not in x-302's, use the flack jackets or full body sheilds? or vise versa, do your defensive units use the P-90's if they dont have an ion cannon or other defensive weapon to man?

ok well, Offensive units can only use offensive weapons and not defensive ones. This is the same with devensive units. If there are no offensive weapons for an offensive man, the man goes into battle unarmed and almost useless. The only use they have is being a bullet sponge but I'd recommend them being equipped. I hope that helps.

Well mercs make good bullet sponges. I usually have X amount of Super units and then have a Y of mercs to take the fall for em.

Less costly that way
