You do not have enough units. Trained units take untrained to make. Super units take trained units to make. Everything requires Naquadah.

If i want to train my troops. i get this message, but where can i get more troops then?

Sorry for the stupid question.

you need a normally trained unit before you can make a super unit

train normal soldiers then pay 89k for a supersol

I think I might know what you'er asking... you get more untrained units by getting your unit production up... then you'll get more untrained units per turn, and then you have them to train soldiers

since you cant tell his example was for the goa'uld

what you need is get 1 Offensive Away Team once you do that you will be able to buy 1 Offensive NID Team

those are for attack now the defence ones are

get 1 Home Base Guard then you will be able to get 1 Home Base Guard

Looks like you just started, so invest heavly into your Unit Production (called UP for short). That's how many soldiers you make in 1 day. There's 48 turns in a day, one every 30 minutes. To see how many untrained military peons you make in 1 day, divide your unit production by 48.

Now, hows the best way to go about upgrading your UP? Buy 1 attack weapon, and train 1 attacker. Look through the battlefield (attack pages) and pick somebody out with 0 defense (spy them to see if you can, if you see ????????? you can't spy them). Since you just started, most of the accounts below 10,000 have 0 defense. Pick one out with a nice amount of naquadah out, and declare war, then attack for 15 turns. Take your winnings, repair your weapon (armory page near the top), and sink the rest into your Unit Production.

Repeat as often as you can until you can get your unit production into the 1k-1.5k area or so at least. You earn 1 attack turn every 30 minutes, so if you run out you'll just have to let them build up a bit.

ya, just buy atleast 1 atk weapon and hit a 20-60mil 0 def person and put it into unit production

In addition to the things already said, that should help you get going :)

Why won't the game let me consistently Reassign my Mining Drones? One minute I'm "Un-training" 10,000 Miners in order to get 10,000 General Drones back, then the next minute the game won't let me "Un-train" anymore Miners. Even if I still have 5,000 Miners left, I can't Reassign them. Are there limits on how many Mining Drones you can Reassign per hour or some other kind of restriction that I'm unaware of?

P.S. No, I'm not referring to Lifers, all I'm talking about is regular Mining Drones :)

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer

I am curious as to why you chose to bring this up on a two month old thread :?

On topic, I trained off all of my excess miners with no problem.
Tried to go -1 and didn't even get an error message. (though of course, it wouldn't let me untrain them)

I'm glad it works for you, but that still doesn't answer my question. I currently have 4600 Mining Drones and I tried to "Un-train" only 4500, but nothing happens. There's no error message, no "innsufficient funds" message, no "no resources available" message. As soon as I click the "Un-Train" button, the page refreshes but no Mining Drones were "Reassigned"; all 4600 Mining Drones are still there.
