Ships (using Goa'uld as an example)

I think there should be an armoury upgrade, higher than the 167,800 Naquadah weapon, which gets you to upgrade a certain amount Death Gliders to different ships like Death Glider - Alkesh - Ha'tak - Mothership (like Apophis' : can only have 1) - Super Mothership (like Anubis' : can only have 1)

something like:
Death glider 160/160 for 16k naquadah
Al'kesh 560/560 for 48k naquadah
Ha'tak 5120/5120 for 300k naquadah
Advanced mothership 10240/10240 (from 5x22 revelations- those ha'taks by anubis) for 580k naquadah
Flagship (0-1 restriction) 20480 for 1m naquadah?
for tauri F 302, BC 303 (prometheus sort), advanced BC 303? (dedalus type)
and so on and on?

Yeah, but less Naquadah, as it is probably near impossible to save 1M Naquadah.
More like
Death Glider - 16k
Alkesh - 50k
Ha'tak - 100k
Mothership - 150k (only 1 allowed at a time)
Flagship - 250k (only 1 allowed at a time)
That way it is affordable but still hard to get for many people.

yeah but Ha'taks should be hard to afford as only a handfull of system lords had them in series, i think it was stated in reconing that tok'ta had most of them tracked and it was around 100 in whole galaxy. besides if they're cheaper then gate guns they'd have to be weaker and then why to boder buying one if you can wait a little and get this more powerfull toy.
not to mention that there would be a great deal of programming to create space battles option. and we should remember that in those battles you should be able to destroy enemy ships, lose yours'. and as a ship they'd have to be operated by soldiers (who would be likely to die if a ship was destroyed).
it can prove to be very difficult to implant but i would very much like to see it in future:D

I was meaning having the troops included, so it doesnt affect your troop count. The Ha'tak could be upgraded quite easily, so there would be no reason to get a gate weapon, when you could have a space fleet

then there would have to be separate list in armoury something like ships upgrades? divided into 3 sections: attack/defence/security? is it what you mean or something else?

That sounds more like a spin-off game.

if we did all this then it will basically sound more like a proper game that u have to install and buy. than a free web-based game.

it is a good idea, however I think that there need's to be a shipyard which allow's you to produce ship's. (something along the lines of a armory, however produceing space craft. Since space ship's are a major step forward in technology.)
