upgRAde your UP now...unbelieveable.....
the more UP you buy at once the more discount you get. and this is not a joke.

i/we checked it on different accounts with different multiples and we figured that the discount depends on the multiple you give.
eg:
100x: 51M
354x: 610M
382x: 750M

it's possible you use a wrong formula to calculate or this is for some reason...anyway i wrote it here...
i don't know if you could compensate this somehow, but if you buy 1000X or more at once....i just can't imagine that, it is possible to turn into a positive feedback and start a chain reaction and gives unlimited naq, or free UP upgRAde.

who haven't used the multiplier ever?

well it started that i wanted a formula that tells you how many multipier can you do with a given money. the formula works, i double and triple checked it...BUT as i realised a smaller ammount of money always left after the UPclick. I also counted the required money in a single excel table, and it aslo proved that my calculations are right.

yes, you maybe right..but as you see the discount grows drastically with the number of the clicks. in the first 100click it's only 51M but from 354 to 382 clicks (difference is only 28 ) the growth is more than 120M!! so it's definetly not linear.

count this: you have a new realm with zero UP. you do 382 clicks at once because sy gives you the money. the requested money for this is 1094M naq. the discount is 750M naq. totally you have your first 1K from 344M naq!!!! the third of the required. And i think if the ammount is higher the discount is far higher also...so you can make your own alliance for free with unlimited UP...and you make PROFIT from it....

it gives you a way for a serious cheat...
and after this i think you could check the ship's capacity upgRAde as well.

It will be fun to see what happens. Hopefully they have logs of this so it can be corrected.

damn, is this true? I just bumped mine up! I thought I had about 500UU for than I should have, now I know why! damn it

okay i made some more tests with 1 to 10 multipliers...
here's the result:

multi discount (naq)
1 0
2 10,000
3 30,000 (1+2)*10,000
4 60,000 (1+2+3)*10,000
5 100,000 (1+2+3+4)*10,000
...etc.
closed formula with n as multiplier:

(n*(n-1))/2 * 10,000 Naq

it could be that they wrote 5 instead of 15
i told you what is the problem and where is it. i can't help you more

for weakers: you can't "generate" infinite naquadah this way (fortunately)
but you can get 1/3rd price your UP if you start from 0 and do it in one piece. and considering that 20K RAW costs 111B instead of 333B... it's a bigbig advantage and needs the attention of admins/forum

it was actually minor and had to do with the fact the UP increased by 3 (not 1) each time, but is none the less solved.
the effect, when compared to the variable cost increase, was not major.
this will be called a one time sale 'volume discount' and the sale is now over

Hmm this is a YAY and a AHHH feeling at once i am reascending soon and would have bought my UP back up, i was afraid i would have been abusing a bug so i am like YAY but he isnt gonna punish those that used it so AHHHH i kinda wish i did

this forumla only worked if u had UP of 1 right?
