this is the same thing i do to everyone that tells me they dont play

i think we shoulde all do this to make ascension alittle more active even if forum never does make de-ascension possible

I am thinking once deascention comes out their will be alot of people on vac mode.

Thinking even more; along with de-ascension, a limit on Vac mode, so the number of ascended people will free fall, only a good thing, to leave only the ones that play.

Really? What gives you that idea? Are you going to waste your turns descending some punk with 100 total planets that's ranked 900? Cause I sure as hell won't...

what if that person is 6x ascended and just doesn't play the ascended server I would do it then.

I just hope de-ascention takes at least a day or more to do. I would be pissed if I came back from being at work and found that my main account now has no bonuses and my ascention has been wiped out and de-ascended.

We would hope that Descending someone is at least slightly more complex than simply massing away the target's physical weapons then using the personal attack function until they are dead though. Perhaps after all that a substantial turn investment (500 or so) and a substantial Life Force investment is required for that final "shove" back to the lower planes? Bah, I should stop speculating...

Right the two possibilities are:

1) A relatively easy process, in which case tons of people will log on after the first night that it's implemented, realize they got descended while they slept, and will **Filtered** and moan nonstop to forum about how their "hard-work and all the time they put into their account" (aka credit card) is now lost and they're gonna DEMAND their account back...

2) A pretty dang hard long process, taking tons and tons of turns, which seems more reasonable to me, considering you're talking about absolutely destroying an account, but in this case, like I said, re: all those people that dont play ascension, are you going to use up a thousand or more turns to finish off an account that doesnt even play? There are hundreds of such accounts, and I really doubt that number will go down once descension is brought in.

like in main you get to a point where you dont need/want to use your turns so i think people will get bored and do that 2nd option

If someone has a formidable Main account and an ignored Ascended account (assuming that Descension is a crushing blow to your Main account too) then I can certainly see a use for it, even if it is a long, hard process. The dross accounts will probably still be of a large number, but it adds another game dynamic to the active players experience - something which I think is far more important than clearing out five hundred or more un-used accounts.

I better get cracking on my defense then... It is only like 70 million, but I have been working on my UP so that I can have a decent starting point.

What if you had the option to decend and get everything you lost in ascension? Your account on main would lose all ascended bonuses and revert back to the orginal form, but you wouldn't suffer crazy losses like in a forced decension.

It would be like Orlin in the show. He decended, but still retained the knowledge of ascension, so he could easily do it again. He just lacked the great bonuses of ascension, like the super powers and such.
