Hello! I'm new and, just yeah... any general advise?

Find a commander with a high income and low officer count. You'll get a portion of their income. Head over to the recruitment forums to find a good match.

My friend tried to join me but there was no thing to click at the bottom of my page, why?

because you have the same ip, their are anti cheat scripts enable to stop people multi accounting, if you and your friend have 2 seperate accounts that is perfectly legal. anyway about making him your commander, as changing your commander doesnt exactly happen everyday for most people i would suggest that he join you at work or school, somwhere, where you have a different ip.

But he's my brother... thats just silly

Just try to get him to join u from work/school/the library
Multiaccounting is a big problem u know .

also dobt worry about movin up the ranks right away. o if u can get enough income from untrianed troops, u can move up whenver u want.
