Ok, I sabbed this guy waaaay more than eight tonight!
I sabbed him yesterday at 13:19 according to my watch, but I began sabbing today before The 24 hr mark was even hit from yesterday!
As much as I'd like to ignore this bug (If it is one) and keep hitting him over and over, I'd like to confess my sins. Plus, hes in vacation mode like a wuss. He keeps hiding there from me too.

Or perhaps covert has been updated? Maybe its a bug too that I'm hitting him with only one spy and the spy is returning? I'd like to think its because I am a bad mofo though. Here it is:

Returning? After a successful mission destroying weapons?

Destroying around 3000 points-worth of weapons at max still?

No, no, no - this just doesn't add up at all.

YEP....

Thats what I thought. Not making this up either.
I'd really like to take advantage of it but cant.
If you were refering to why I'd want to keep hitting him over and over, he sent me a pretty dirty PM that ragged me off.

Seems like he's suffering from the karma bug then.

yeah, i don't do much with covert anymore other than keep it high enough to not get sabbed which i'm still workign on but i just got level 15 and still have trouble spying on people...this may be because i just am bad at picking out who to spy on, not really sure if has any connection at all

i have to say that the most commen bugs deal with the numbers 1,0 and what ever the max is. in this case the code sounds like its missing an = sine.

Ra what the hell are u doing sabing with only one spy to begin with? give the newb a chance.... unless he did some thing to pisse you off and in that case give him hell

has anyone noticed that if you reach the sab klimit then wait an hour you can sab again a couple times. maybe that's what happened.

You could be onto something. I've always taken for granted that you had to wait 24 hrs to sab another 8. Never even pressed my luck until now!

i wondered how long it would take for this to become public knowledge :) no one ever said there was a limit to how many times you could sabotage someone in 24hrs, i have in fact got a thread somewhere in my links where Forum gives a MASSIVE hint that this is FAR from the case. Happy sabbing guys! After a time it maxes out, after another time it is no longer maxed out.. when have you ever known Forum to give out anything other than approximations :P

Well, if you consider the fact that in quantum, my realm produces enough naquadah to build 30 weapons per turn, and you can destroy 8 on the first turn, and a few more a while later, I'd say its still too weak.

yes, beyond the realms of the above "revelation" due to the game being elevated to a new level of power, spying is still very very weak.

I feel like Neo in the first matrix, the moment he pulls the bullet out of midair and has a look. Yep... I understand it now!!!!

Yes, its still handicapped! But It sure beats eight a day!!!
