check your Broker if they did Naq then you know who it was also I think Admin can just look at where the stuff was sent and if that was just a cover account he can see where that account went to also you will probable be checked evary day by Admin also change your Forum PassWord 1 more thing to top it off do what i did to insure not being hacked go to hotmail.com make an account remember your password to it then change your E-mail to that and forget about it DO NOT TELL EVAN YOUR MOM/DAD/WiFE/Brother/kid/FRIEND

You were not hacked. You told someone else your password, or they guessed it as it was obvious. It's possible you left your password somewhere where there was a keylogger (maybe if any of your school/work friends play) which would be classified as cracking.

Hacking has nothing to do with stealing passwords and data. By calling this "hacking" you help spread ignorance and insult real hackers.

Get your facts straight.

Well yes there is a ''type'' of ''good hacking''; doing it to learn and improve instead of disturbing/deleting or altering stuff; how do you think they improve computer security? They get people who can get thru to try it out and find the holes ;)

Whitey - Well, Guessing/getting to know the password by one way or another isn't even cracking, it's just being plain mean; Cracking requires a little skill, those people don't have a dime of skill in their pockets.

You sure your password wasn't something obvious or guessable in such way that anyone that knows you well could guess it? Or even that you wrote it somewhere? The one that took over couldn't just step in like that typing random passwords..

its atcully is esay to hack some1s account UNLESS they have a different E-mail addreass then its hard but you should now see if the guy who got all your stuff has any enamys evan weak then his enamy(s) probable sent the stuff to him so he would get blammed.an old trick

you dont need to tell people your password for people to get it i show'd my girlfriend a few weeks back they only need to know you really well for them to guess it

i was in her hotmail account after 5 attemps

so always make your password random numbers and letters it mite be hard to remember for awhile but like anything else you learn it eventualy

I agree - I use the word "cracker" as a loose term for people who give hackers a bad name.

And that's one type of hacking - yes. Hacking is more a way of life, or a way of doing things. I hack code, to make it do what I want. I hack at tennis - I run backwards and hit the ball oddly - not how the coach says I should it it, but it works for me.

Hacking is a sense of doing things :).

As for DPT, one possibility is that someone requested the answer to your secret question on hotmail/yahoo, put in the right answer, go into your account and used the "forgot password" link on SGW. Or you use that password other places. Your password should always be a combination of letters and numbers, more than 8 characters long. It's VERY good to have a symbol in it somewhere too.

For instance:

goobers << bad

g00ber5 << not too bad

g00b£r5d00d << good
