Hyper Drive Upgrades!!

Make searching for planets faster!!
Im not saying these should be cheap, I think their should be great disadvanatage made in buying them.
For example:
Each upgrade takes 10% off of the time it takes to find a planet (1day).
Initial upgrade starts at 5bil naq.
Every upgrade doubles each time you buy it.
Sounds expensive and ahrdly worth investing into.. so its great

but couldnt we make the price based on ur income or soething, because bigger players will buy em all straight away lol
whereas 5bill is a LOT for a small player

5 billion isn't at all expensive when you consider that some players are making billions per turn.
This would also appear to be a suggestion that gives an advantage to the already rich and powerful.

The already rich and powerful will always have an advantage, that's the benifit of being rich and powerful. As there is no way to truly destroy someones account (ie, kill their miners) there is not much you can do through the introduction of new toys alone.
Besides, I expect they will get their 10 planets within a few days/weeks, so why spend money on upgrades they won't need. Easier, quicker, and possibly cheaper to just steal them in the long run.

also basing on income is bad, just gota acend and poof instant noob
so although the truly powerfull will be hurt, poeple like me who are still acending or reacending will have quite the bounus
not that im complaining though

Make it so the upgrade is dependent on Mothership size. The bigger and more powerfull the mothership, the higher the cost because the better the hyperdrive has to be. The smaller the cheaper the upgrade is because the drive dosnt need to be as strong.

Well in order to prevent the rich and powerful from gaining the upper advantage straight away why not have a % of your total fighting force in Attack/Defence have to be given away in order to get this upgrade
Example if you have 1,000,000 TFFiAD excluding miners/lifers/covert, then the cost will be 25% of your TFFiAD and this is taken only from Strike and/or Defence supers so if you have 100,000 supers 25,000 of them are committed to your hyperdrive in attacks and defence etc..
Now for anyone who is thinking WTH is he on and where can I get some haha this will increase the power of your MS by 25% and then depending on how many TFFiAD you have..
This will mean that people with really low attacks who just attack small players for naq cos they have little or no defence and it is cheaper to repair etc... will find it harder to attack someone who may have 40,000 in defence and the same in attack as they will have an increase of 10,000 times 4 added to their defence/attack...
And while I'm thinking of how that makes no sense but on some level it might to make it less confussing on people I am thinking this.. If Player B is being attacked by Player A who has 1,000,000 TFFiAD while player B has only 100,000 TFFiAD then Player A can only commit 25,000 of his Strike/Defence action to his hyperdrive as Player B only has 25,000 TFFiAD to his defence, this would make it more fair and not give the players who have little TFFiAD and the players with HUGE TFFiAD concentrate on larger targets and make less farms out of people..
And finally if any of the previous makes ANY sense then wahoo I am not totally insane..

Ah but did you read all of it???? haha
Basically it just says if your army of people in attack and defence are 4 times mine you have to commit the same amount of army as I am thus making it nice and fair so that the people with 10 million or more army cant send in 2.5 million and add 2.5 million times whatever the Hyperdrive upgrade adds onto the mothership power..
And the reason is because that wouldnt be fair on the likes of people who only have 100,000 units... So yeah..
Eventually what I say will make sense.. You just have to get to know me better

i do not see what this adds to the game right now i think in a months time that all the top players will have the amount of planets they want wether it be 10 or 1.
i think that an upgrade should be the abilty to call it back early but then it would be abused way to much...also i think it should cost about 100 turns to look for a planet that way people so not jujst send there MS off to look for planets while raiding or what ever with out some loss beacuse you know that smart people will do that and some not so smart peopel like me who read the idea some where else and is planing to use it.
but i am not worried i think most MS will be pretty busy for the next few days
