Limits on Planetary attacks to 1 per day

I personally think that a MS should only be able to attack planets once a day in the same way as you find them that way you could not take 10 planets in ten minutes.
O.K. the defence problem was sorted out which makes it better but players like Nomis with his MS packing over 1,000,000,000 Fleet capability could still end up farming the rest of us. ( Personally I think players like Nomis could beat the c*** out of most accounts anyday). The main difference between this and other farming is that we spend loads of money on these planets in my case over 8 Billion so it is not like being farmed for normal cash or troops it is far worse.
My planet can withstand fleets of 2,700 but some must have fleets in excess of 3,900. I am continuing to upgrade my single planet to deal with this but if I did the same to all my planets then along came some powerful player with one MS he could theoretically destroy 80 Billion in 150 turns in ten minutes!.
I also feel that if you MS is not off galavanting around then its fleets should add to your planetary defences. Its other weapons would engage normally

Deleted from other thread, off-topic apparently...
I have a suggestion that I'd like to bounce with the forumites. I think the cost of defense of a planet is fair enough, but maybe the attack success ratio shouldn't be so cut and dry, like the traditional attack - defense. There are other less cut and dry 'attacking' algorithms, for example:
- Sabotaging, with the idea of percentage damage or maximum damage per attack, whichever is greater.
- Covert Agent Kill rate, complex calculation Wink
I think one attack per day for planets is to par with how long it takes for a mothership to discover them. However, because stealing what others have usually takes less time than discovering them, maybe a bigger limit should be imposed. Say 2-4 per day, or we can apply the 'distance' rule that raiding has (difference in rank become how many minutes?). The further the distance, the longer it takes to reach/less damage can be applied.
The other imbalance in the attack/defense of planets is the fact that the fleet strength is higher for Tauri, which is par to their race advantage, but the planet defense do not have this advantage at all.
One thing worth considering is the size of the planets. Logically:
- Smaller planets are harder to spot, but easier to move
- Bigger planets are easier to spot, but harder to move
So perhaps bigger planets needs more either mothership power or fleet power to attack and move to orbit? Smaller planets have higher covert, bigger planets have higher defense?
Someone mentioned that attack + defense power break even at 2900+ because hangar cost increase each upgrade, this is not exactly true IMHO because your defense cost also increase with planet size.
Just a few cents that may be worth considering...

Yes, limiting to one attack a day would definitely make the planet thing a bit more endurable. As things stand right now, these things have really killed the momentum of the game. I'm fairly new to it (probably about a month, now?) and the past couple days, i just have been fending off attack after attack after attack for that planet. Most folks try 2 to 3 attacks in a 5 minute period!

dude, look at timestamps...and they can attack you as often as they want for your planet, you can only succesfully STEAL one planet a day now though.
