Why not have a special Market for the exchange of planets between two players?
Planets being traded for other planets, or for resources.

For God's sake - why as soon as something is introduced into the game do people say - let's have the option to sell it!?
It seems that they do this without thinking, because what would this little suggestion lead to?
You don't know? - well I'll tell you.....
Firstly, the planet's defences are currently massively underpowered - therefore, for relatively powerful players, they are easy to steal - so why buy them?
Secondly - this would massively benefit powerful and rich players by stealing planets off of weaker players and selling them on (or back). This would be a kick in the teeth for weaker/less rich players if it was introduced.

Have to say a really big NO here to this one...
Now here's a suggestion being able to give your officers use of your planet's resources if they dont have one themselves that way the weaker players would get some of your Planets useage..
What I mean is if you have your 10 planets and on your officers page you can assign a officer to a planet untill they go forth and find their own nice and shiney new one..
I'm not saying their own planet but useage of one of my planets
Oh and wolf before ya line me up for the same reason as yer man
For God's sake - why as soon as something is introduced into the game do people say - let's have the option to sell it!?
I love the updates, I really do... I don't want to sell my planets I love them all too much...

that suggestions nice , but as for the originol idea of this thread, there is no need to trade for them they are so riddiculusly easy to take who would bother to pay for them?

Actually, I'd say his got noticed because he used correct spelling and grammar. His was a lot easier to understand - I had to read over yours 2 times to "translate".
No offense - just pointing out why yours was probably overlooked.

Fake convo.
Me:
Do you like your planet?
N00b:
Yes, I do. I invested alot of money in it.
Me:
And how much did you invest?
N00b:
Hm..I sold all my weapons and all my spys, that's about 20 bil.
Me:
That's alot for a new player like you
N00b:
lol yeah.
Me:
Would you like to buy it from me for 25 bil?
N00b:
Why would I buy my planet from you as I already have it?
Me:
I stole it from you

why not if you wanted to be able to sell the planets defences like selling normal defences, so you can get your naq back or a certain percentage. so if you wanted to abandon it you wouldnt has a huge lost.

I think that maybe planet sales/exchanges could be considered - but only once this new change has been put through the mill and everybody is used to it. The only thing I would say is that, if it is introduced, you shouldn'n't be able to sell a planet to 'nobody' - it would have to be a trade with a real player.
