Im just wondering what people think about planets at the moment wether they are a good thing a bad thing or just need some work to be great. my opinion is they need work BADLY they only benefit very few people who honestly dont need the small bonus's they give anyways the peopel who would benifit from having a planet cant hold one long enough to do anythign with it.

they could easily be great, but two things need to be done.

1 make harder to take/easier to defend

2 make them worthwile, the price to upgrade is way to high for the measily return (7mil naq to go from 67-68up)

Really, give them some time.

But a little more defence would be nice, Wouldn't be nice to spend 1.2 billion on each planet and watch them vanish.

i spent 12 bil on one yesterday and its gone now so ya i think the def costing less or adding more def per upgrade (or both :)) would be nice.

I definetly agree with the defence thing, but in terms of not being worth it you're very wrong indeed. I have a UP of about 6000 and let me tell you it is MUCH cheaper to do the planet thing. For example: My UP upgrade cost is 27 million for 3 troops, while a planet upgrade is 7 million for one troop. If you do the math you will find that getting the same return of 3 with a planet costs 6 million less at 21 million - and the gap grows only larger with more powerful players.

while planets r expensive to arm and still nearly indefensible even with billions of naq spent on them...
