Planet military strength bug

Ok looked around, didnt see this anywhere, and as far as I can tell this isnt supposed to be happening so...
I got a planet and when I go into the planet screen, under "Defense Structures" it had a certain amount, lets say 500 to start off, giving me like (100 mil def power) in paranthesis. I bought one more, bringing that up to (101 mil def power), but now, on my main command page, my main realm defense AND STRIKE went up by 1 mil as well.
Now I can see where planetary defenses would get added on to main realm defense as well, but main realm strike? Oh and the planet's bonus is covert, not strike/defense in case youre wondering.
