Planet Defence & MotherShip suggestions

So far I've had 3 planets (and far over 2 weeks' worth of Naqadah invested in them) stolen from me by high-ranked people who hoard them. This is clearly a problem, (I'm an average player, ranked 3750 right now and had been 3000 before my planets were stolen) I blame this on a few facts and opinions that I will state here, and then suggest remedies for. I'm not whining about being too incompetent to properly care for my planets, so don't condescend to me or anything. Thank you for your time.
1. Mothership Location
People can easily build up fleets for planets, cheaply and en masse. This allows for people to easily capture planets. However, only the very highly ranked can afford the defenses to keep them. Gaining planets is cheap, but keeping them is insanely hard.
Suggestion: The Mothership should be able to defend the planets, using anit-fleets or something. In itself, that's not an original suggestion. My idea is that there should be location for the mothership to go to.
This would work similar to the DefCon system, except the "alert levels" in the drop-down menu would be replaced by one's planets. It would take a certain amount of time to make the mothership move from defending one planet to the next (time between movement could be upgraded in the mothership).
Or, change its "stance". This would make it devote all its power to one task. It could be on: homeworld defence, all-planet defence, offence, exploration, or "ready" (able to do anything, same as now). This would also take a time period to get into position.
2. Names
I gave my planets cool names, the kind you'd expect from Stargate. My favorite was Elysion, which comes from the Greek word for "Struck by Lightning". When I went to check my attack logs, I found that I'd had "Nintendo Hate" stolen from me. What? I had no idea what that was. I checked my planets, and I found out that my beloved Elysion was gone, and had been turned into some dumbass fanboy planet.
Suggestion: Attack logs should keep the "__(Planet name)__ stolen" title static, so that it will never change after the attack. There then should be a message at the end of the attack log saying "_(old name, static)_ is now __(new name, changeable)__ in (attacker)'s system". The static name would probably use the same code that makes the number of attackers and defenders remain the same.
A simpler request: The ability to name your homeworld.
3. Limit
10 planets a system... okay, that's fair. How is it, then, that 2 of the people who stole my planets now have reached that limit? It's been less than a week since planets were created! Reaching the limit of 10 planets should be some sort of long-term goal.
Suggestion: There should be a weekly limit to how many planets can be put into your system. Also, once a planet is gained, it should be protected for a day or two.
4. Size
A tiny planet with 10 defence and a Normal-sized planet with 10 defence will have the same strength; one costs 100 million to make, and the other costs 400 million to make. (I might be wrong, I didn't have enough time to experiment)
Suggestion: Size should also affect defence strength. Or, size should reset as soon as a planet is gained. I've already had to abandon a few planets because they were too large to develop for.
